Flattbutt arrived right on schedule at the New Orleans Steakhouse. I made it a little early, even though he gave me the wrong exit number over the phone..:) It was nice meeting him and he was pretty much  as I expected him to be.  Meeting internet friends is always interesting because we tend to imagine what people are like from interacting with them.  Tom comes across as a fun loving, happy guy. He fit the description I had in my mind, with a wonderful Joisey accent too!!
After hearing about the terrible car wreck he had been in, a few years
ago,  that left him paralyzed, and seeing the miracle, of him being able to ride again, it is no wonder he can appreciate his rides on the "S" more than many of us.  It was a good reminder for me to count my blessings during this season  of reflection.
